'NEOWISE' Potomac River The Great Lakes have entered

The Great Lakes have entered a polar vortex

it was probably less than a mile from our house & the homeowner was extremely gracious

Because when it does that exact ridiculous thing we hoped that it would

'NEOWISE' Potomac River The Great Lakes have enteredComet NEOWISE rising just to the east of Headlands Beach State Park lighthouse at 4: 30, this AM. Also visible in the dawn sky, this morning Venus, Saturn, Jupiter, and a nearly full moon. Though, sleep could be considered a close second, I can't think of many *other* ways to spend a beautifully clear & still summer pre dawn.
